Sir Syed Ahmed Khan was a scholar of repute in British India and lived during 19 century. He wrote that in free India where political power is decided by counting heads meaning democracy, Muslims will not be able to live and thus responsible for sowing the mutual suspicion and thoughts for a separate Muslim nation for Muslims by dividing India. He died much before India got freedom. his thoughts were processed by Poet Iqbal and Jinnah who succeeded to break sub continent in 1947 creating Pakistan that has become a failed nation today and a den for terrorists.
He was the founder of Aligarh Muslim University in Aligarh. Consequently Pandit Madan Mohan malatya founded Benares Hindu university at Benares in UP state.
