He was a senior and highly decorated officer. he played double agent. He passed information to czechoslovakiavand then to Czech govt in exile through Czech resistance group Tgree kings during WW II. he was arrested but was released due to public protests. However he was rearrested and was murdered at a concentration camp at the end of WW II.
