FALL OF GOLCONDA

Here, the commander of Golconda forces, Abdul Razak Lari is seen fighting the Mughal forces with handful of comrades after the fort was betrayed to the enmemy by a junior commander Abullah Pani.( Drawn in water colors by Dr K Prabhakar Rao). Razak received 100 wounds and fell unconcious in the fort and was nurtured back by the physicians of Aurangzeb. Although he was offered a very senior post by the impressed emperror he prefered to retiregarcefully.
