Mir OSMANALI KHAN ASIFJAH BAHADUR.. NIZAM 7 OF HYDERABAD.. Black pen sketch 50x80 mm on paper

nizam 7 was the 7 th ruler of Hyderabad and Berar princely state and he was from Asifjahi dynasty. Hyderabd was protectorate of  Britain and English resident was stationed at Hyderabad. He was a loyal ruler to Britain. He was a noted bulder and took up many welfare activities. For people. However when India was to about to gain freedom  he was given option to join eith Pakistan or India or remain independent. he was trying to remain independent. but due to geographical location India wanted  him to join India. There was a crisis and Nizam started parleys with Pakistan and imported arms, prepared his army for defending his state. Under KASIM razvis command he unleashed Razakars a para military force which committed  great atrocities on Hindu population. the state burned under chaos and lawlessness. Finally Indian army invaded in 1948 and Hyderabad forces were defeated in a matter of seven days and nizam surrendered.. Scores  of Razakars were kille. And  RAZVI was sent to jail for ten years. After a trial. But nizam was spared as appeasement of Muslims and made the governor of Hyderabad  part of Indian Union. He passed away in 1962. Dynastic rule of asafjahis vanished finally. Nizam has faded in to back pages of history. the living Razakars mingled with society.the party if Razakars although was banned in 1948. Was later allowed to function with rewritten manifesto .The party was originally named MIM. And Is Now known as AIMIM.although named as all India party the party does not enjoy any noteable support in other states.
