Konstantin Hierl (24 February 1875 – 23 September 1955) was a major figure in the administration of Nazi Germany. He was the head of the Reich Labour Service (Reichsarbeitsdienst; RAD) and an associate of Adolf Hitler before he came to national power. he always remained an important figure in the Organization . He was associated with activities of supplying front line troops with ammunition , stores, repairing roads and air strips and construction activities. He was ministe without portfolio in 1943.After the war he was tried and sentenced to prison term for major offences. on early release he returned to Heidelberg and he passed away on 23 sept 1955.
