Dr WILHELM BIEGLBOCK

Dr wilhelm Josef Franz Beiglböck was a senior physician in nazi Germany and was a consultant to Luftwaffe the German air force .he was of the rank of obersturmbann fuehrer. He also held the rank of professor at a university. he conducted experiments of sea water on prisoners at Dachau camp. after war , he was arrested and tried at doctors trials by US. Military tribunal at Nuremberg Ad was sentenced to 15 years jail term. later it was commuted to 10 years. After his release he worked as a physician till he passed away in 1963 At the age of 58 years.

HELMUT POPPENDICK

Dr Helmut Poppendick was Oberfuhrer i.e senior colonel SS chief of personal staff of the Reich physician SS and police. He was arrested after WW II and tried at D octopus trial at Nuremberg by US. Military tribunal and was sentenced to 10 years Jail term. He was released in 1951 and he died in 1994.

He was a General Oberstabsarzt i.e Colonel general medical services, medical inspector of army and chief of army medical services.He was arrested after WWII and tried at doctors trial at Nuremberg by American military tribunal and sentenced to life term.It was reduced to 20 years. He was released in 1954 and sadly  he died the same year.

Dr KARL AUGUST GENZKEN

 He was a  Gruppenfuhrer in SS and General leutanant i.e Lt Gen in waffen which is the combat arm of SS. He was chief of medical dept of waffen SS. He was arrested after WWII and tried at doctor’s trial at Nuremberg and sentenced to life term. It was reduced to 20 yearslater. He was released in 1954 and he died soon in 1957.

 He pioneered research in biological warfare in Nazi Germany including the nerve gas. After war americans arrested Him and tried him at doctors trial at Nuremberg by Americal military tribunal. However he was acquitted. He shared his research material with US and escaped gallows. After war , he did not get Visa to go to USA and he was employed by US in European command of west Germany to continue his resaerchOn biologicla warfare. He practiced medicine too.

Dr PAUL ROBSTOCK

 He was German official! university professor in medicine and was the advisor to nazi govt. He worked along with Karl Brandt senior Nazi and close aide to Adolf hitler. After war he was arrested and tried at doctors trial at Nuremberg by American military tribunal owing to his senior position and possible complicity in human medical experiments that were conducted under N ASI regime by doctors at concentration camps. however he was found innocent and was acquitted. After release in 1947 he worked as senior physician and passed away at the age of 64. after his release he took up documenting the doctors trial with the aim of projecting to people in different perspective. But he could not complete the task

Dr HERTA OBERHEUSER

She was a SS doctor at Auschwitz and later at ravensburk concentration camp.She was involved with unethical medical experiments along with other doctors. She killed healthy children by injecting oil and other drugs and they too about five minutes of to die, the various organs from their bodies were taken. She worked on effect of various substances on wounds for which she made wounds on bodies of inmates and rubbed saw dust, nails, glass powder, dirt into the wounds. She was arrested by allies at the end of war and she was tried at Nuremberg trails at doctors trials. She was the only person given 20 years in jail. That was later reduced to ten years. After her release she practiced as family physician. However her license to practice was cancelled on the complaint of a survivor who saw her in 1958. She died at a the age of 67 years.

GUSAV MUNZBEGGER  NAZI

 SS-Unterscharführer Gustav Münzberger (17 August 1903 – 23 March 1977), born in Weißkirchlitz (Sudetenland), was a carpenter and factory worker before the Holocaust. Following the Nazi German invasion of Poland at the onset of World War II he was posted as a serviceman in August 1940 at the Sonnenstein Euthanasia Centre at Schloss Sonnenstein in Pirna. He arrived at the Treblinka extermination camp in late September 1942 and became assistant to deputy commandant SS-Oberscharführer Heinrich Matthes, in charge of leading Jews into the gas chambers and gassing them. 
Treblinka was built as part of the most deadly phase of the Final Solution, known as Operation Reinhard. The camp operated between 23 July 1942 and 19 October 1943 During this time, more than 800,000 people – men, women, and children – were murdered there, with other estimates exceeding 1,000,000 victims. 

Münzberger was an operator of the gas chambers at the Totenlager, and later Chief of the Leichentransportkommando corpse transport team. On 21 June 1943 he was promoted from the rank of SS-Rottenführer to the rank of SS-Unterscharführer. During the Treblinka revolt he was on holiday at home. After the closure of Treblinka, he was sent to Trieste in Italy at the end of November or early December 1943. The Risiera di San Sabba killing centre was being set up there. Münzberger was arrested twenty years later in West Germany on 13 July 1963. 

He was charged with war crimes at the Treblinka trials lasting from 12 October 1964 till 24 August 1965, and sentenced for 12 years imprisonment. He served six years and was released on good behavior in 1971. He died six years later.

ZIMMER EMMA

Zimmer Emma was a nazi woman at concentration camps. She worked at Lichtenburg, Ravensburk, and Auschwitz..concentration camps as overseer. She was very brutal, sadistic and inmates were scared of her. At the end of war , she was arrested by allies. She was tried at Ravensbruck.. Hamburg seventh trial By a British military court Ad was sentenced to death. She was hanged on Sept 20, 1948 at the age of 60 years At Hamelin prison.

Dr FRITZ ERNST FISCHER 

He was originally a SS waffen physician and after getting wounded in combat role at war front , he was posted to Ravensbruck concentration camp and worked  under  Karl Gebhardt. they conducted surgical experiments on camp inmates. He was arrested after the war and was tried at Nuremberg doctors trial by American military tribunal . He was sentenced to life term and later it was reduced to 15 yeas in 1951. He was released in March 1954. He regained license to practice and joined Bohringer in ingelhein where he worked till he retired. He died in 2003. He was the last known living member from doctors trial when he passed away At the age of 91 years.

After war she was arrested by allies and she was tried by British military court at Hamburg in Ravensburk trial III. She was acquitted due to lack of evidence. After the release, she worked in West German police

PFLAUM HANS

Hans Pflaum the work head was one of the defenats at Hamburg Ravensbruck trials. However, he along with another two defendants Sohren and Optiz escaped from custody before the trial commenced . However Pflaum Hans and Sohren were captured again in 1949 who were living with false names. They were handed over to the French  authorities who were conducting another Ravensbruck trial At Rastatt and they tried the two and sentenced them to death. They were executed by a  firing squad on 12 June 1950.

She was a nurse at Ravensburk camp and after WW II she was arrested by allies. She was tried at hamburg by a British military court and sentenced to death. She was hanged at Hamlin prison on May 3, 1947.Her chest number during the trial was number 11.
