what is in store for us in present polls, by Dr k Prabhakar rao

WHAT IS IN STORE FOR US IN PRESENT POLLS
Dr k prabhakar Rao
jetley is not a proper choice as FM in the cabinet and proved a disaster for modi. Although modi
govt has been making all efforts to tell people that his dradtic actions such as, demonetization and GST are yielding positive results. Opposition has gained much due to these two actions. It was also claimed that terrorist actions would reduce due to demonetization. but terrorist actions did not reduce and the devastating blast on CRPF convoy killed neatly 45 men. subsequent actions by army and airforce although redeemed prestige. Opposition gained advantage and played all tricks to discredit the govt. In fact loss of BJP rule in three major states earlier is a serious setback for BJP. Thus BJP is not sure of clean sweep this time and is a bit shaky too.No one is sure about his return with absolute majority.. Sadly the opposition is a bunch of characters pulling in all directions and this may be a bit favourable to modiji and his party...

Inevitabl changes in the last bastion by Dr K Prabhakar Rao

INEVITABLE CHANGES IN THR LAST BASTION
Dr k prabhakar Rao
Politicisation of armed forces in India was inevitable owing to the suppression and systematic degradation of the forces right from 1947.nehruvian govt that was obsessed with the fear of a military coup subsequent to events in Pakistan ensured that def services were marginalised on status, priority and pay. every govt did the same whether it was Congress govt or otherwise. The governments followed the dictums of the civilian babus in administration under the well known dictum of army playing second fidle to civilians in a democracy. while in Pakistan Ayub khan engineered a coup leading to many years of military dictatorships, Indian armed forces played the gooddy gooddy boy role like in Uk and USA where def forces are held in high esteem unlike in India.  Craving for evidence by opposition parties subsequent to air strikes on Pak terror camps recently  speaks about it. A stage has come where IAS. and IPS  and even state police forces consider def services inferior to them. The forces under central Home ministry too are pulling carpet under the feet of services. the struggle by veterans for OROP at Delhi leading to cane charge by Delhi Police on advance aged  and sick veterans was the darkest spot in def services history in which serving top brass in services  looked other way. Probably they thought they would never retire from service. To day , every one knows that selection of top brass  in def services for higher posts is a politically motivated process and extraneous considerations play role than seniority and merit. By passing has become a regular affair.Top brass  in services is surely much worried for the post retirement perks such as posts as ambassadors or high commissioners even when they are posted to insignificant countries. In olden days discussion on politics in services was a taboo but not
now. Now freely these are discussed. How long politicisation of services can be stopped when every one knows that they are subjected to injustice and step motherly treatment by their own govt ? if some one feels that all is well in services he is surely mistaken. Surely all is not well and destruction of the last bastion in the
country is around the corner. Better every one be prepared for it. God  bless the nation and let wisdom prevail on those who matter before it is too late.
