Anant giri fort is located on a hill at Ananatgiri village near Sircilla town. Ananatgiri is in Ellanthkunta mandal in karimnagar dist. It is at a distance of 34 km from Karimnagar. From siddipet it is 18 km. Anantgiri is on the borderr of karimangar and Medak Districts. It is 7 km from Ellnathkunta.From Hyderabad one has to travel to siddipet and then turn towrards Ananatgiri.The fort is a Hindu fort and clear history is not available. It was under the control of Nizams at later date Who ruled from Hyderabad. The fort is in poor state and as usual, the govt turns a Nelson's eye to its upkeep to save The heritage of Telanganites.
