WILL THE VETERANS BE BENEFITTED IN THE NEW REGIME

What a trouncing the Jokers of opposition got in this election Tamasha.Do you think we the veterans will be benefitted in any way.Shall we get revised pensions due on 19 July 2019 as per govt decision made earlier that OROP granted would be revised every five years while veterans wanted for every year.. Will the strike at Janta Mantar by veterans will drag on or will be withdrawn. this strike in fact alienated top serving brass as they found it embarrassing to them. When veterans were cane charged injuring many by Delhis unruly police. The service HQ kept mum. As if the veterans were mere trash.Service HQ has nothing to do with welfare of veterans. it is MOD who drags on the issue In order to kill the problem. Will rejuvenated Modi cut the tails of veterans As he has been voted in for next five years with abs majority and choke voice of veterans by some type of strangulation of ECHS facility And Canteen facility etc?
Recently a by passed naval senior officer vice Admiral appealed against appointment of new naval chief. it was negated by MOD. Now he may go to tribunal.As a principle such appeals will always be Rejected as it will set a precedent. earlier even Gen VP Singhs case of date of birth was rejected by highest court and he had to retire.The guy is now happy in the company of Modi. All these disgruntled top brass would make a bee line to BJP for rehabilitation. But Vp Singh joined BJP before BJP came to power and he was lured into party, but the party BJP admit all the sundry veterans into party as they are already in power. They may be admitted to increases rank and file. nothing more.
Army officers retired are denied membership of officers messes as a policy to avoid embarrassment to uniformed guys. They forget that they would also retire soon and be on the other side of the fence. Running around the station HQ for various things.But being in uniform they treat retired guys as second rate stuff. very sad state of affairs.It is time that veterans establish their own clubs, recreation centres and distance themselves from the service establishments and save themselves from discrimination and insults.Some peace will be there. From them .it is very unlikely that veterans will receive any major benefits. From the new regime.Initially. It was expected that in this election Service men and veterans and their families will stay away from ruling NDA. There are many and many service men and veterans from Haryana, Up, Rajasthan and Punjab and all these would not vote for Modi. It could make a difference of 60 to to Mps from these states.But the latest results proved otherwise and Modi had his way except in Punjab.It means many service men and veterans voted for Modi. Known devil is better than an unknown one. Let us see what is there for veterans. will Modi cut tails of service men and the veterans in his tenure as they are of no consequence. Veterans ...have two pegs of rum in evening. With some salted mung Philly ( you can't afford kaju any way )and sleep after taking a sleeping pill Alprax plus. Or restyl.God bless them ..
