JOSEF WIRMER

He was a jurist and Nazi resistance fighter. After the assassination attempt on Hitler failed on 20 July 1944 He was arrested by Gestapo.On 8 September 1944, Josef Wirmer was sentenced to death by the Volksgerichtshof. The peoples court presided by Roland friesler..Two hours after the sentence had been handed down at the show trial, he was put to death by hanging with a wire noose at Plötzensee Prison in Berlin. Roland Freisler died five months afterwards during an Allied bombing. In fact during the trial. Friesler shouted that he would go to hell soon and Josef replied that he would be glad to receive him there soon. As predicted, Friesler was killed within five months in allied bombing raid.

HASSO VON BOHEMR

Hasso von Boehmer (9 August 1904 – 5 March 1945) was a German Lieutenant Colonel on the General Staff and one of the 20 July Plotters. He was a Lt col from. German army..Hasso von Boehmer belonged to Infantry Regiment 9 (I.R. 9) from Potsdam, from which also came many of the other plotters. They served, among others, Major General Henning von Tresckow and Fritz-Dietlof von der Schulenburg in the regiment. All together, I.R. 9 supplied more plotters for the attempted assassination of German dictator Adolf Hitler and abortive coup d'état than any other regiment in the Wehrmacht.

He was arrested when the plot failed. however due to illness he was sent to Sauchsen Hausen camp. When recovered he was tried by peoples court and sentenced to death and was. Put to death on the same day I.e 5 march 1945

OTTO GEORG  THEIERACK

 On 20 August 1942, Thierack assumed the office of Reich Minister of Justice. He introduced the monthly Richterbriefe in October 1942, in which were presented model – from the Nazi leaders' standpoint – decisions, with names left out, upon which German jurisprudence was to be based. He also introduced the so-called Vorschauen and Nachschauen ("previews" and "inspections"). After this, the higher state court presidents, in proceedings of public interest, had at least every fortnight to discuss with the public prosecutor's office and the State Court president – who had to pass this on the responsible criminal courts – how a case was to be judged before the court's decision.

Thierack not only made penal prosecution of all unpopular persons and groups harsher. "Antisocial" convicts on the whole were much more often turned over to the SS. This usually meant Jews, Poles, Russians, and Gypsies. Soon afterwards, though, he utterly forwent any pretense of legality and simply began handing these people over to the SS. Thierack came to an understanding with Heinrich Himmler that certain categories of prisoners were to be, to use their words, "annihilated through work". Ever since coming to office as Reich Minister of Justice in August 1942, Thierack had seen to it that the lengthy paperwork involved in clemency proceedings for those sentenced to death was greatly shortened.

At Thierack's instigation, the execution shed at Plötzensee Prison in Berlin was outfitted with eight iron hooks in December 1942 so that several people could be put to death at once, by hanging (there had already been a guillotine there for quite a while). The mass executions began on 7 September 1943 but due to their rapidity some prisoners were hanged "by mistake". Thierack dismissed these as errors and demanded that the hangings continue.

After the war he was arrested for trial but he committed suicide and escaped trial at nuremberg

HEINRICH GRAF ZU DOHNASCHLOBITTEN

He was a professional soldier and was a major general in G reman army and at his own request was relieved from army in 1943, He took up to farming for livelihood. Dohna-Schlobitten maintained contacts with resistance leader Carl Friedrich Goerdeler, and was soon involved in Helmuth James von Moltke's Kreisau Circle through fellow aristocrat Peter Yorck von Wartenburg. Had the attempt on Hitler's life on 20 July 1944 succeeded coup d'état, Dohna-Schlobitten was foreseen as East Prussia's new provincial administratorThe day after Claus Schenk von Stauffenberg's failed assassination attempt with a briefcase bomb, Dohna-Schlobitten was arrested, and on 14 September 1944, he was sentenced to death in Roland Freisler's infamous Nazi Volksgerichtshof (People's Court). He was executed the same day at Plötzensee prison, along with Nikolaus von Üxküll-Gyllenband, Hermann Josef Wehrle and Michael Graf von Matuschka

MICHAEL GRAF VON MATUSCHKA

 Matuschka was born in Schweidnitz, Silesia (today Świdnica, Poland) and studied law at the Universities of Lausanne, Munich, Berlin and at the University of Breslau, where he passed his doctorate in 1910.He joined the Prussian Army as a one year-volunteer at the 4th Silesian Hussars Regiment. Matuschka worked as a junior civil servant in the provincial government administration of Westfalia until 1914. In World War I he was wounded on the Eastern Front in 1915 and became a Prisoner of War in Russian captivity. In 1918 he managed to escape and returned to Germany.

After the end of World War I he worked in several administrative positions and became the county commissioner (Landrat) of Oppeln in May 1923. He was elected for the Center Party as a member of the Prussian Landtag in 1932 but was forced to resign in 1933 as member of the Landtag and as Landrat of Oppeln. Matuschka worked in the Prussian Ministry of Interior in Berlin and at the administration of the Province of Silesia, where he met Fritz-Dietlof von der Schulenburg.

In 1942 Matuschka became an administrative economic adviser in annexed Regierungsbezirk Kattowitz. He was supposed to become the head of administration of Silesia by the plotters of 20 July 1944[3] and was arrested by the Gestapo after the plot failed. Matuschka was sentenced to death by the Volksgerichtshof on 14 September 1944 and killed the same day in Plötzensee prison next to Heinrich Graf zu Dohna-Schlobitten, Hermann Josef Wehrle and Nikolaus von Üxküll-Gyllenband.

Matuschka was married to Pia née Gräfin von Stillfried und Rattonitz, with whom he had three sons and a daughter.

LUDWIG  FREIHERR VON LEONORD

 he was German army officer and was severely wounded in 1941 and he became unfit for front line service. he took part in 20 July plot for assassinating Hitler. he was supposed to become a liaison officer in military district VII (Munich). After the plot failed Leonrod was arrested by the Gestapo on 21 July 1944, sentenced to death by the Volksgerichtshof on 21 August and killed on 26 August at Plötzensee prison.

 Julius Leber at his trial
Julius Leber (16 November 1891 – 5 January 1945) was a German politician of the SPD and a member of the German Resistance against the Nazi régime.Leber was betrayed by an informer among an underground Communist group led by Anton Saefkow, with whom he had sought contact. He was arrested by the Gestapo on 5 July 1944, fifteen days before Stauffenberg's attempt on Hitler's life in the Wolf's Lair in East Prussia. On 20 October, Leber was accused in a trial before the Volksgerichtshof alongside Adolf Reichwein, Hermann Maass and Gustav Dahrendorf.Leber was sentenced to death, and executed on 5 January 1945 at Plötzensee Prison in Berlin.
