HANS SANdrack. NAZI. TANK ACE. Hans Sandrock, born in April 1913 in Saarbrücken, was an officer of the German Army during World War II, during which he was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross was awarded to recognize extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership by Nazi Germany during World War II. He survived the war, and died in 1995 at the age of 82.
