Hello colonel sir, my son went to IMA for training but returned after few months as he did not like the severe tough training, discipline, mental sufferings apart from physical sufferings, we paid some money. I was happy that I got my son back, although we lost money we don't mind..

Look sir, the tough training in the academy is a must, the mental sufferings are part of training, If the officer has to face hardships in service And also in later retired life, such as neglect by govt, degradation army officers compared to civil officers, hardships at the hands of civilian beaurocrats, poor respect and standing in civil life, the officer must be capable of withstanding all particularly social neglect in society and govt apathy towards ex servicemen. We are all facing these.
