Sun and moon
Change places at horizon
The distant sky eternal and vague
Appears very close
Yet still far from the reach of the sky
Far and far away
Where no one has ever reached
The eternal and to infinity
Trying to find
What lies ahead
Who lives there
Nothing is clear
Mind gets bogged down
Billions of years have gone by
Who made us when and why
Mysteries remain unsolved by us
Are we alone in the universe?
Or are there brothers some where?
As intelligent and selfish
As scientific and foolish
As criminal and cranky
As jealous and cruel
No one is clear
Questions remain oh dear
An unsolved puzzle
Really a big riddle
Then we look at god
To say that he made us all
