She was the chief personal secretary to Hitler who served him before and during the war. She was the most trustworthy and was very close to Hitler. when Berlin was about to fall she refused to leave to safety and opted to die with Hitler. But Hitler prevailed upon her to leave in view of her aged mother at home? She left Berlin before Hitler committed suicide. Later she was taken into custody but she was let off. She refused to share any information about Hitler with any one.
