He was a filed marshal in German airforce Luftwaffe and occupied very high positions during WW. II. After war, he was indicted and tried at Milch trial at Nuremberg by US. Military tribunal and was given life termaccused of being a war criminal. However it was reduced to 15 years in 1951. He was paroled in 1954.
