OPEL CADET CAR, 1940 German make,two door side valve engine of 1070 cc WWII .this car was very successful German small car widely patronised and also was used in war widely.various versions like four door and door versions with soft top were made. it's manufacturing plant was extensively bombed by allies during war as it was producing engines for fighter air crafts for German airforce Luftwaffe and suffered great damage. after the war the Russians were given the salvaged drawings, stamping dies that were available and some tooling as per agreement. Russians reverse engineered the vehicle mostly from captured vehicles that were plenty and produced Moscow witch car and was produced for a decade plus. Later versions had OHV engines.
