BUDWELL fort Hyderabad

BUDWELL FORT, BASTION , HYDERABAD

these are the photos of a old fortvremains in Budwel village at Hyd outskirts. rajendranagar has come up near Budwel. Nothing much is known about the village, The village is very old remained undeveloped for ages and with development of software infrastructure around it, the land rates have gone up greatly. A narrow bumpy road leafs to a musi bridge and it liks up with sun City close to Tippu khan bridge.

The fort walls and bastion are built of rough cut rocks with conventional design like firing ports at different levels the rocks and stones are bound together by mortar. Bastion must be having inner stair case and the walls also have  firing ports. From external appearence the fort can be said to be about 300 years old belonging to a local king or naik or a noble. Locals are clueless about fort and it's history
Probably  needs more examination and research. Nwikipedia on budwel  has no infn
