Leonardo Conti, MD (German pronunciation: [ˈleonaɐ̯ˌdɔ ˈkɔnti:]; 24 August 1900 in Lugano – 6 October 1945 in Nuremberg) was the Reich Health Leader (German: Reichsgesundheitsführer) in Nazi Germany. The killing of a large number of Germans who were of "unsound mind" is attributed to his leadership. he was of the rank Obergruppen fuhrer I.e lt general. Aftervthe war he was arrested on 19 may 1945. Ad was to be tried in doctors trial. However he hanged himself an year before the trial on 6 oct 1945.
