He was a Nazi functionary arrested at mauthausen camp by US army after the camp was over run.He was tried by US military tribunal at Dachau camp in the case US vs Altfuldisch in a group of 61 members and was sentenced to death . He was hanged at ladesbrerg prison on 27 May 1947, His chest number during trial was 35
