In 1936 he went from SAID to the SS, where he earned the service degree Obersturmbannführer in 1941. After the outbreak of the Second World War in 1939, he was head of the Gestapo in Danzig . In August 1941, the district of Galizien was established in the General Guvernement , the part of Poland that was not incorporated into the German Empire. Tanzmann was then appointed commander of Sicherheitspolizei (Sipo) and Sicherheitsdienst (SD) in Galiia, where he ordered thousands of Jews to be archebus . Among other things, about 1,000 Jews were shot in Stryj on September 1, 1941. When Operation Reinhard , the codename for the execution of the GeneralGuvernement's Jewish population, had begun in 1942, Tanzmann was responsible for the deportations of Jews to the Bełżec camp. After pleading guilty to embezzlement, Tanzmann was moved to France, where he was in turn commander of Sipo and SD in Montpellier, Marseille and Vichy. How he organized Jew deportations and adopted repressive measures against the French resistance. In the final phase of the Second World War, he held the corresponding post in Narvik, Norway. In May, Tanzmann fled by submarine to Scotland, where he was arrested by British authorities. Tanzmann reportedly committed suicide in captivity. he was reportedly tortured at 7Kensington palace gardens also called the cage which was the centre for British intelligence and investigation as a writer who published a book on the cage and its deeds. the place Was acquired in haste it is reported that the inmate committed suicide on 06 March 1946 without intimating the name of the victim. the death certificate gave a wrong name as HANS Eric Koch from German navy after seventy years, truth has leaked out once the book was published.The death certificate was issued with a wrong name as Koch. historians claim that he was tortured to death.The cage was reportedly the centre for torture duly certified by other inmates too like Fritz KNOECHLEIN an SS officer who was under investigation for massacre of British troops of royal Norfolk regiment who surrendered in France. I am a retired colonel from army and for the last 28 years pursuing career in Engineering education. I am a graduate in Mechanical Engineering and Post graduate in Machine design from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. I have obtained Ph D Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Dr Ram manohar Lohia Avadh University. I am also the recipient of Ph D degrees in Strategic studies, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Religious studies and political Science from other Universities. I have also written and published four books on political Science, education and English poetry. I have published 38 Technical papers in various journals and seminar proceedings. I have also published 950 research articles on line in faithcommons.org and Sanghparivar.org. There are 15 English short stories to my credit. I have published 82 articles on various subjects like strategic studies, history and political science in new Swatantra times published from Hyderavbad.
