He was an electrician and member of SS at Belsen camp. He was arrested after WW II and tried at Belsen trials at Luneberg by a British military court in the case Josef Kramer and other  44 members ( Chest no. 23. He was

 acquitted.

He was from German army and in 1945 he was transferred to SS and was posted to Bel sen camp after a bit of training . He worked at the kitchen. After the WWII he was arrested and tried at Bergen- Belsen trials along with others in a group of 45 members in the case  Josef Kramer and others ( Chest no. 18). He was acquitted
