OTTO KULESSA
He was a camp guard at Belsen
camp and he was a Kapo. I.e a prisoner at the camp interned by the govt for an
offence andd was given the job of controlling the camp prisoners. He was a
Kapo. After war he was arrested and tried by the British Military court in the
case of Josef Kramer with 44 additional members at Leunberg. He was
acquitted.Durging the trial his chest number was 14.
OTTO KULESSA
He joined German army on 23 May
1944 and was trained at Strutthof. He was sent to Mittelbau camp on 15 Sept 1944.After
two days he was transferred to SS and he went to Nordhausen. He was sent to
Dora camp on 04 April 1944 and he accompanied prisoners by train to Neuengamme
concentration camp and then to Belgen Belsen camp. He arrived at the BB camp on
10 April 1945.$2 prisoners died on way due to hunger sickness etc. After war he
was arrested and tried by British military court at Leunberg in the case of
Josef Kramer and 44 others and was sentenced to 15 years prison term.
