ANNELIESE KOHLMANN

She was a lady camp guard at Neuengamme camp and later at Bergen Belsen concentration camp. She joined SS on 4 Nov 1944. After the end of the war and liberation of camp , she was arrested by the British army and she was tried at Belsen by the military court and she was sentenced to two years prison term. She was a beastly woman and used whip to strike inmates and even lashed a pregnant woman across face . Deducting the period of detention after arrest, she hardly stayed in jail for an year and was released. After release, she stayed in Hamburg and later shifted to west Germany in 1965. She passed away on 17 Sept 1977 at the age of 56 years.
