She was the daughter of a British chartered accountant working in Paris and was fluent in French. Before the on set of WW II she worked at British embassy at Riodejenaro and then she shifted to London She was employed in Special operations unit being fluent in French. On 5 April 1944 she was dropped at Orleans in occupied France. She was to work with George wilkinson and report on German activities. She also in league with drench resistance fighters and was also involved in a gun battle with German troops .After norMandy landings Gestapo increased. It's activities and consequently she was arrested on 31 July 1944 and she was severely tortured at freshe's prison in Paris and then she was sent to Ravensbruck concentration camp. She was executed at the camp on 5 April 1945. She became very weak and was unable to walk when she was executed.
