karl moeckel was a SS ltcol
Obersturmbann fuhrer and was an administrator at Aushwitz concentration camp
during WW II. He reminded in the camp till the end when it was liberated by
allies. He was head of the administration at the camp that included supplies ,
food distribution, accounting of property of prisoners, maintenance if gas
chambers, burning pits, ovens etc and thus have was responsible for aiding the
holocaust. camp and commandant. And he had same rank. He was arrested and he
was tried for war crimes at Kraków after the war and was executed.on 28 jan
1948 at Auschwitz trials.
