He was a physician in German airforce I.e Luftwaffe and took care of aviation medicine and was of the rank of captain. He was arrested after the WWII and tried at doctors trial at Nuremberg by American military tribunal and was sentenced to 20 years prison term. later it was reduced to 10 years. He died in 1961.
