He was a camp doctor at SachsenHausser camp during WW II and was arrested by soviets when camp was liberated. He was tried by soviet military court at Berlin and was sentenced to life term for war crimes? they were sent to work in coal mines on polar sea at Workutu camp. In 1956 he was released and he proceeded to West. Germany. He was again tried by west German court and was convicted. As he has already served prison sentence in USSR till 1956 he was treated leniently . further details are not known.
