Kurt Heissmeyer was a physician and he was in
need of original research for getting promoted as a professor. He was helped by
his uncle general SS. august Heissmeyer and General Oswald pohl the senior
nazis during WW II. His research was to prove that Tuberculosis could be prevented by injecting Tuberculosis
bacilli into lungs and blood vessels of sub humans and it would be acting as a
vaccine. He proposed a pseudo hypothesis that Tb also was influenced by the
inferior races. Jews and sllavs were considered as inferior to Germans as human
beings. To aid his research, 20 school children and four adult care takers were
murdered in basement of B ullenhuser damm school in hamburg. staff of
neuengamme camp played great part in murdering the innocent children who were
first given strong sedative before hanging them. Some children were too light
and the noose did not tighten when hanged. The staff member had to hug the kid
and pull him down. So that the neck broke. It was ghastly and cowardly
act.After war he escaped to Magdeburg in East Germany and practiced as A
Successful lung and TB specialist till he was Found out in 1959.He was tried
and sentenced to life term in jail. He died on 20 A ug 1967. During trial ,
when questioned why Guinean pigs were not used , he stated that the camp
inmates had no substantial value as human beings and could be used as guinea
pigs and Jews were befitting For the purpose. Why he was not executed is a
mystery.
