Schallermair Georg was
a master sergent. Hauptschar fuhrer in SS . He was posted to sub camp of Dachau
at Muehldorf in 1944 . He was from Wehrmacht i.e German army which shifted him
to SS waffen When he was 49 years old. He was the roll call leader and was
beastly and beat the prisoners even to death. Out of 300 prisoners only 72
survived. He daily visited the morgue with Camp dentist and got the gold teeth
extracted from the corpses. He was tried at Dachau camp by an American court in a
single case and was sentenced to death. He was hanged at landesberg prison in
1951 in spite of agitations by various groups in post war Germany to treat
these prisoners as POW and not as war criminals.
