He was a district pathologist in Luftwaffe I.e German air force with rank of a captain during WWII. He also held senior academic positions in Frankfurt university. After the war, he was taken to America under paperclip programme and became distinguished chief of neuro-pathology in Mary land. He died at the age of 80 years . He testified at Warren commission on president John Kennedy's death After he was fired upon in Dallas Texas by an Assassin from the window of an high rise building
