he. Joined Nazi party in 1931 and went to be trained as prison commander. He was sent to Nieder Hagen camp and when it was closed he was sent to Berger Belsen camp where he stayed till1944. Later he was sent to command panzer grenadier 18 battalion . In May 1945 he was declared missing in action.He was a captains rank.
