He was a SS Obergruppenfuhrer and General of
Waffen. He was assigned to Slovania where he ordered mass executions of
civilians. He worked in close liaison with Leon rupnik. He was close to Heinrich
Himmler and reported to him. At the end of war he was arrested by British
forces and handed over to Yugoslavia who tried him and sentenced him to death
on 30 August 1946. He was executed on 4 Sept 1946. He was posthumously
mentioned as war criminal at Nuremberg trials.
