Franz Bottger was a SS
Hauptscharführer at Dachau camp and he was the Roll call leaders. He was
charged for war crimes at the trial US vs Martin Gottfried Weiss in a group of 42 members. He was
found guilty of shooting and hanging the Russian prisoners at the camp. He was
a man of high brutality. On April 27, 1945, he accompanied the prisoners during
the evacuation march. He shot many prisoners on the way. He was at the camp
during 1941 to 1945. He was sentenced to death at the trial and was hanged at Landesberg prison on 28 may
1946
