He was a SS. Guard at Dachau camp and was arrested after WWII and convicted at Dachau trails in the case of Martin Gottfried Weiss in a group of 42 members By US Military Tribunal. He was found guilty and sentenced to death. He was hanged at landesberg prison on 29 may 1946.

He was a SS staff member at Dachau. Concentration camp and was arrested after WWII and tried by US military tribunal at Dachau camp in a group of 42 members in the case US vs Martin gottfried Weiss. He was found guilty of war crimes under the clause common design and   was    awarded 10 years  jail term
