doctor who was posted at mauthausen concentration camp in 1941. he was
responsible for health of inmates and he was also responsible for exterminating
sick, unfit prisoners by gassing and lethal injections. Under his supervision
nearly 900 inmates, Russians! Czechs! and poles were done to death. gasoline
was injected directly into heart to kill the inmates. He also constructed a
gassing bunker in the basement of the camp building. he he was transfered to
kaiser wald camp in autumn1943 and soon Shifted as epidemic inspector for Lithunia,Latvia and Estonia. he stayed there till late 1944. When camp was closed,
He was then transferred to German army as senior doctor and in end 1944 he left
army and worked in a spinning mill as company's doctor.. After the war, he was
arrested and tried at Dachau trials and sentenced to death on 13 may 1946. He
was hanged on 28 May 1947 at landesberg prison. During
prosecution, he stated clearly that humans are like animals and animals born
with deformity or disease are killed at birth. Similarly, such humans also need
to be destroyed and state will be out of burden and will mitigate suffering and
pain for every one.He had no regrets for what has been done and claimed that
every state has right to protect itself from social evils and enemies of
state.This shows that Nazis were highly determined lot and had full faith in
Hitler.
He was a medical doctor from
