squad on 24 march 1949 Cutting short the life of an evil man . Hanns albin
Rauter was the highest ranking SS and police officer in occupied Netherlands
and reported directly to Heinrich Himmler and next to Arthur Seyss Inquart. He was
responsible for suppression of the countrymen of Netherlands. He sent lakhs of
people to Germany for forced labour and scores
to prison camps. After war, he was arrested and tried in Netherlands and
sentenced to death. He was executed by firing squad .
