He was a Master sergeant at Dachau camp i.e Hauptscharführer . He was the executioner by shooting, hanging etc. After WWII, he was arrested and tried in a group of 42 convicts in the case US vs Martin Gottfried Weiss and was found guilty of war crimes. He was sentenced to death and was hanged on 28 may 1946 at landsberg prison

profile Nazi and fought on eastern front along with waffen and Hitler awarded
him the knights cross medal in 1945. He was also required in the kidnap and
murder of a anti Nazi news COPENHAGEN POST paper editor Karl Henrik clemmensen
in Denmark in 1943. He fled to Germany after war and was granted citizenship in
1956. All attempts by Denmark to get him extradited from Germany failed and he
died a freeman at the age of 93 years in Germany in march 23..
