ROST PAUL.he joined SS. In 1940 and was sent to lubin and in 1942 was sent to Sobibor camp.H e was known to be indisciplined and had extra marital affairs. initially he was an acting commander. And secretly spied on camp staff. He was with camp II In sorting procedures.I n 1943 he was sent to Treblinka camp,. In dec 1943 he was sent to I tally at TrIeste.he was promoted as 2lt. Of police.. after war he was in US. Prison camp for a while and was released and he went to his family in Dresden. He was picked up by soviet military authorities and was kept in custody till 1948 and later he lived with family at dresden as free. Man till he died.

SCHWARTZ GOTTFRIED.He was a medical practitioner and worked at grafeneck and as burner in bernburg. he was the deputy commander fora while.he served at sobibor camp. later he was posted to Italy where he was killed in 1944. He was buried at casterMano grave yard at grave no 666.

GETZINGER ANTON  He was an Austrian and member of SS with a rank of Oberscharfuhrer and as per his superiors.,Was a most committed follower of the fuhrer. He was at sobibor concentration camp. He was killed in 1944 while handling a Russian hand grenade that was stored in the camp.. However the official report  declared that he was killed by Serbians and thus he was declared as  killed in action.

FUERST JOSIAS ZUWALDECKHe was a senior SS official of Generals rank. He was the Prince of the royal family in Germany and initially he joined SS as an officer and soon was made the General . He also had the overall supervision of Buchenwald concentration camp. He learnt about the misdeeds of the commandant of Karl Otto Koch While going through the list of political personnel killed in the camp He noticed that the list had the name of a Dr who happened to treat W aldeck successfully earlier. He suspected something fishy and ordered an inquiry. The person was shot from behind after asking him to fetch some water.the commandant Koch was earlier treated by the doctor for syphillis a sexual disease And he wanted to cover up by killing the doctor.The commandant was charged for murder and certain embezzlement at the camp. He was tried by SS. Court and sentenced to death and was executed by firing squad just before ending of the war. Waldeck was arrested after war and tried at buchenwald trials and was sentenced to 20 yeras in jail. However he was released after three years

          India gained freedom from the clutches of the English men   in 1947 and the struggle was not one day affair and   it cannot  be attributed entirely to MK Gandhi's efforts of non violence. Periodic   armed struggles took place from time to time for throwing out the foreign yoke. Once Tippu sultan became the ruler of Mysore after his father Hyder Ali, these struggles became intense. The English men saw Tippu as the greatest threat to their rule in India. Apart from it, the polygor system that was  started  by the Vijaynagar kings became an eye sore to the East India Company and  it  wanted to get rid of the polygors.  After Tippus death,  the major power that resisted the company vanished. Only small principalities existed and the country entered the 19 century. Veera pandya Katta bomman  was a powerful polygor who fought the British and  sacrificed his life  for the cause of liberation on 16 October 1799. Tippu sultan also died the same year while defending his capital Sirangapatnam in the last Mysore warfought against the English  and Nizams armies.

                 Dheeran Chinnamalai was the contemporary of these great warriors. He ruled over Kongunadu consisting of Dindigal, Erode, Salem and was a powerful chieftain. Second polygor war took place  between 1801 ..1802. He was trained in modern warfare by French experts alongside Tippu sultan to fight against  the East India Company and  helped in  gaining victories at  Chiteswaram,Srirangapatnam,   and  Mazahavalli.After the deaths of Tippu sultan and Veera pandya Katta bomman, he sought help of Marathas and Maruthu Pandyar to attack the British at Coimbatore in 1800. But the british  were able to stop the allied troops  before they  came to help Chinnamalai and he was compelled to fight at Coimbatore in 1800. He was defeated and fled. He organised Guerilla war against East india Compnay forces and defeated them at Kaveri in 1801, Odanilai in 1802 and Arachalur in 1804.

            All good things invariably come to an end and Chinnamalai was betrayed by his cook Nallapan and was captured by the British sepoys in 1805. He was hanged at Shankaragiri fort in Salem On 31 July 1805 along with his two brothers. It was the day of Adi peruku.

           Chinnamalai is highly revered and his statues have been erected at  Chennai, Tiruchirapalli, Sivagiri.. Erode and Odanilai. A postage stamp was also released on  31 July 2005 by postal Department of Govt of India  to commemorate his memory. Erode municipal corporation has been named after him.  The fight initiated by Tippu sultan, the polygors was  taken further by Velu thambi ofTravancore cochin, Kittur Rani chennammathat finally culminated in the 1857 war of Independence that shook foundations of the British empire in India. Indian revolutionaries of Ghadar party took up thematle in the early 20 th century before WW I and Stalwarts such as Chadrasekhar Azad, Ramprasad bismil, Bagha Jatin, Bhagat singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev Continued the struggle. Finally it was Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose who organised a regular Indian National army in Japan during WW II  with assistance from Japan  and invaded  Eastern India  along with Japanese with some memorable victories. All these actions  made it clear to the British that their days in India are reduced and would not be able to rule over India. MK Gandhis non violent movement  for independence also  made a dent and finally they had to leave granting freedom on 15 Aug 1947. It is most tragic that Indian history books have  overlooked the contributions of these  great   martyrs and men and glorify MKG and his hench men.

DIETER WISLICENYHe was an SS officer and he joined SS in 1934,He rose to the rank of hauptsturmrbannfuehrer in 1944.He was a part of final solution and ghettoisation of Jews in occupied europe, Greece, Slovakia, and Hungary. He introduced yellow star to identify Jews.. His testimony at Nuremberg trials became very important during trial of EI chaman in 1961. He was extradited to Czechoslovakia and was tried and executed for war crimes In 1948.

He was arrested after war and tried at Einsatzgruppen trails and sentenced to lifeimprisoment. However it was reduced to  10 yeras  in the year 1951. He died in 1990.

PISTER HERMANNHe was the SS officer and commandant of buchenwald camp and took over after Koch. He was the commandant from 21 jan 1942 to April 1945. he was of rank O befuhrer i.e senior colonel. He was responsible for holocaust at the camp. As allies troops approached, the commandant ordered sending of camp Jews to dachau camp that was 24 hrs away by  train. However the train carrying Jews in box cars took  three weeks due to allies  straffing  and bombing of areas. many Jews died of starvation, straffing by planes and also by firing at them by the officers. Accompanying them.when the train arrived at dachou many died in boxes. He was tried on 11april 1947 at buchenwaldv trails after the war and sentenced to death.by hanging . but he died of severe heart attack in prison on 28 sept 1948.

HERMANN KRUNEY Herman krumey was an assistant to notorious Adolf eichmann in the process of executing the holocaust. He was a member of SS of rank Sturnbannfuhrer, and was responsible for deporting Jews to the camps. In 1939 he was posted to Ponzon to remove poles from warthe dist. he served at lodz office of migration and also in Croatia. He accompanied Eichmann to Budapest in 1944 to oversee deporting of Jews to camp at Auschwitz. He survived the war and was first arrested in 1945 but was released in 1948. He was rear rested in 1957, 58 and 60 and was in custody till 1965. During the custody he was tried and sentenced to five year term and as he already served the period in custody he was immediately released. however prosecution appealed in 1968 ...69 and in retrial he was awarded life term On 29 Aug 1969 And it was upheld in 1973.

GRAF M He was a non commissioned officer and was a member of SD. Earlier he was in SS too but due to  his indifference he was removed from SS. He also requested authorities to be relieved from SD. He was not found guilty of first two counts  that are  holocaust crimes  but was found the member of SD a criminal organization that was the third count. Whatever  prison  custody he already suffered before and during trial was counted towards the penal sentence and he was set free.

His statement was called for in the trial of Adolf E ich Mann who was tried in tel aviv in 1961. It was sent to them and  He did not appear personally at the trial.He Died in 1975.

He was responsible for mass murders in occupied Soviet Union. After war he was arrested and found guilty in 1947. He was sentenced to death but was commuted to 20 years in jail. he was  released  in 1954. He died. In 1987 , October 09

 

SEIBERT WILL .Seibart will was a SS standarten fuhrer I.e Colonel and was a deputy to Otto ohlendorf . he was the member of SD. They were responsible for extermination of Jews in Einsatzgruppen. Programme..D. He was arrsted and tried at E insatzgruppen trails and was sentensed to death by hanging. But his prison sentense was commuted to 10 yeras in 1951 .When General amnesty was announced he was released. He died in 1976.
