 HACKMANN HERMANN, He was A SS captain and worked at Buchenwald concentration camp. He was tried by SS. Court during the trial of commandant Koch and was sentensed to death For murder. However he was taken away by G estapo and was not Executed. He was a sadist and cruel. He often beat inmates with whip or stick.he also worked at majdanek camp in occupied Poland. After the war during the buchenwald trails in 1947he was sentensed to death but it was. commuted to life imprisonment. He was re tried again later during third majdanek trial and was awarded additional ten years prison term. He died on august 29, 1994
