He was an economist
and worked with krupps organization.He was favorable for Hitlers removal. After
the 20 july plot failed, he was arrested and was tried by Freisler at Peoples court. However He could
convince the presiding officer Freisler that he had loss of memory. He was
spared and sent to sanatorium. Thus he escaped possible execution. When the war
ended he was tried in Krupps trial at Nuremberg by US military tribunal and was
sentenced to prison term
