She was the elder sister of Sophie Scholl and Hans Scholl Of White rose fame during WW II in Germany. Although she was not involved with white rose the family of Scholls were taken into custody and interrogated and were released. After the war she wrote many books on white Rose.Although she was much persuaded to join the organization, she kept away from it
