He was an anti Nazi fighter Right from inception. After fire in Reichtag in 1933 he went underground, But
Gestapo arrested him and he spent Two months at concentration camp at
Ornienburg. He was arrested again and spent one year in prison. When WW
II started, he became Soviet informer. In 1939, he was found unfit to be a
soldier and he associated himself with resistance groups. On 12 sept 1942, he
was arrested along with his wife in Schrimn and were tried by the military
tribunal on 19 dec 1942. He was executed on 22 Dec 1942 along with Harro Boysen
And Aevid .When arrested, his wife was pregnant. Son was born to him on 27 Nov 42;
He was allowed to see his son in mothers arms before he was executed.
