He was a journalist in Nazi Germany and was a member of RED ORCHESTRA group. he introduced Eva Marie Buch to the group. He was arrested by Gestapo and tried by people's court and was sentenced to death and was executed in Aug 1943 at Plotzensee prison in Berlin.
