She was a
journalist and also worked for a publishing house. She was the member of Nazi
party. However she soon turned anti Nazi and was associated with Resistance
group such as Red Archestra. She became a soviet spy and shared information
with Soviets on Nazi war plans. She also warned soviets on impending attack on
Soviet Union.She was arrested by Gestapo along with Rudolf Von Sheila On 12 Aug
1942. they were tried by the Court and sentenced to death on 14 Dec 1942 and
was executed by Guillotine on 22Dec 1942. Rudolf Scheila was hanged from meat
hook at Poltzsee prison in Berlin, Her mother was sent to a Concentration camp
where she died in 1943. Her brother Kurt Stobe escaped arrest and continued
with resistance activities. He was however murdered in 1944. She was
posthumously honored by German foreign office in 2014 July
